After experiencing the devastating effects of Hurricane Maria in 2017, the Caribbean island of Dominica chose to take radical action in the face of climate change: to become the most climate resilient nation in the world. Five years later, they have the plan to make this vision a reality.​

The vision for this film extends beyond storytelling. It aims to amplify the voices of those working tirelessly on climate resilience and adaptation. The film hopes to activate the climate finance community to provide resources and support for the resilience- building plan. We are at a critical juncture for tangible action on climate change, and fostering optimism for the challenging task at hand. This story meets that need with a portrait of human resilience and an example of action-oriented leadership.
